We have exeat this weekend and we went to London. We didn't do much. There was very little people who came down to London for this exeat. It was only us from MSJ and a couple of other people. Went to Odeon in Bayswater to watch a movie: 'Stardust'! It cost us 9.25 pounds!! Imagine x3!! It's almost equivalent to B$30!! But it was worth it. Love the actor!! So SUAI!! Even Fiqah agrees! hahah~ She was totally head over heels in love with him. -__- !!! SNOW!!! ^^
Grass.. And yeps, you've guessed it: more grass!!! The hill was really steeeeeeep!! We were like panting and gasping for breath!! This was the view halfway up the hill. I love the way the sunlight penetrated the clouds! Looks so 'OOOOOH~'
My weekend was packed this week. Totally had no time to myself. On Saturday, we had this Malvern Special Family party for little kids, some normal, some disabled. We went to the hall and had no idea what we're supposed to be doing! After that, the kids came and then it was total chaos. This little kid with Down's Syndrome started throwing things around and pushing chairs over. I was terrified! I don't know what to do! But luckily, he went to another group, so yea, a sigh of relief! *phew* I felt so damn lost there, with little kids running around, making weird noises. I was having a cultural shock, to quote WanSien. Well, in the end, everything was just not a good day for me. We just wasted the whole day, standing around and doing nothing much. Heh~

On Sunday, we went to Shropshire for another D of E training. This time, it was on Long Mynd. It was almost flat all the way, and not much climbing. But the going back part sucks. There were lots and lots of rocks jutting out of the ground, making walking difficult. You could slip on the rocks and break your ankle or something! And my toe has a blister now!! *sigh* Will post pictures soon!

It was raining harder than usual when we came back from London. It's getting pretty cold these days. After I unpacked and started to settle down, reading my comics, Fiqah burst into my room and told me to look out my window. I was expecting a prank, so I sort of didn't dare to look out,(it was dark outside) but she insisted. Then she pointed to the grass and say its snowing. I didn't see anything, so I ignored her.
After a while, she came running to my room again and announced: 'IT'S REALLY SNOWING!!'. Then she dragged me all the way to her room to see it. Conclusion: It really IS snowing!! I was like "WOW!!!" and started running back to my room and take pictures!! But it's dark so it can't be seen clearly. Woot~ It's my first time seeing snow!! So sakai man!! Fiqah was suggesting that we go down in our PJs and play with snow. Hahaha~ So excited!! ><

" Monday, November 12, 2007Have been feeling tired and low these few days and I have no idea why. I feel so glum and SOOO lazy to talk to people, so I just kept quiet most of the time. I guess I feel homesick. I miss everybody and everything in Brunei!! *sniff* Oh well, 8 more months to go!! It's been a long time since I posted pictures on my cooking! Well, this one below's the 'Banoffee Pie'. Made by Shin and I during enrichmentclass. It's practically just caramel and bananas and cream. It's delish, not too sweet, not too bland!! Fiqah's fave!! =P
And this one, I made this afternoon for my food tech coursework. Its 'Cheesy Pasta with Tomatoes and Cream!' For those cheese lovers (me), it would be nice, since it's, well, filled with 3 types of cheese! But too much of it will somehow become disgusting! Heh~
And last but not least: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DADDY!!! It's supposed to be tomorrow according to my time, but when I post this, it will already be the 13th in Brunei, so yea! Have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! *Muacks*

" Saturday, November 10, 2007Had to wake up at 6:30am today to get ready for another D of E training. This time, our destination point is: 'Sugar Loaf'. Its a very cute name for a hill ain't it? Today's weather was COLD!! The wind sort of cuts through every layer I had on, so in the end, we had to wear waterproofs. You know, those plastic things which won't let water, nor wind pass through? So yeah, we started getting warm! I'll just let these pictures tell the story! 
Off we go, the 7 of us (including Miss Cole) on this dangerous expedition. (Everyone looks so sombre) 
Then we got to this place, full of brown (grass?) *note the brown things covering the bottom half of the picture* 
We reached this little stream and we had to cross it with the footbridge! 
After miles of walking, we stumbled upon 'Gnarly Trees Forest'! *not the real name* We had this practise on what to do when someone's injured, and I was chosen to be the injured person. So, I had a dislocated knee and now everyone must build up the tent while 'injured' lil' me lie on the plastic, staring at the sky! I almost fell asleep! Then we had lunch. 
I know, I know! We look really stupid, but it was really COLD there!! We walked and walked and walked.... 
Until we got to this place! Pretty eh? That hill there is Sugar Loaf! 
The path was getting narrower and narrower, until we had to walk in a straight line! 
We were surrounded by grass..

" Sunday, November 4, 2007We had Bonfire Night that night during 2nd of November. It's a day where they light up a Bonfire and burn a dummy named Guy. This day derived from how many hundreds of years ago, I think, where this guy named Guy Fawkes tried to burn the parliament building or something. He got caught and they burned him to death. Ever since, people celebrate that day. I know its a bit morbid, but yea, it's tradition I guess. -__- !!!So we had to go to the field and watch the bonfire lo. It was really cool! The fire was really big and looks very nice. After that, we lie down on the grass and watch the fireworks!! Oh my god, it was a spectacular view! We were just right under the fireworks not even 100m away and they looked like they are going to fall on us. I just can't describe this!! It's a very good experience!! I took some pictures, but they don't look that nice!! *sniff*
