Yesterday, we went to Alton Towers. I was so excited until I found out we had to wake up at 6:30am to get ready for breakfast cause we had to leave at 8:00am. Felt like a zombie when I woke up, then had to go and wake that Shin up again.
The journey took us 2 hours!! That lazy Shin slept throughout the whole bus ride leaving me with nothing to do except staring out the window. But finally, we arrived!!!! *dances around*
Shin, Me, Arina, Abi, Fiqah n Syiken. Muni took the photo!
It was a huge amusement park and our first stop was...the
TOILET!! Then we went for our first ride, the
Spinball Whizzer. It was sort of like a rollercoaster, but the car
spins around while we zoom on the track! It was so damn fun!! And everybody was screaming like hell!!
In the queue of Spinball Whizzer
In front of OblivionThen we went to the Oblivion ride. It was a rollercoaster with a vertical drop, but the people being seated horizontally, not vertically like the giant drop in Brunei. We sort of chickened out in the end. A bunch of chickens, we are. We went of 'Hex' next. It's a very weird ride. It seems like ur upside down, but you're actually not. Dunno how to explain neh. -___- !!!
Oblivion. Look at that drop!
In front of the Castle!
The CastleThe next ride was 'Rita, the queen of speed'. Damn! That rollercoaster was FAST!!! I thought my eyeballs were gonna pop into my brain!! It was very exhilarating!! Shin said that she was gonna fall asleep. Kek tao!
We went on the skyride to go to another area. It's like a cable car ride. We took more pictures in there. Luckily there was a guy inside who could help us take our pictures! Then we reached the 'Woods'. After getting out of that, I sort of persuaded Shin to go on to 'Air' with me. The point of that rollercoaster was to make you feel as if you're flying. Shin was whinging all the way from the start to the end of the queue, and her face was so grumpy. She was like 'I'm going to close my eyes. I'm going to puke', but at the end of the ride, she was like 'That wasn't scary, that was fun'. And I had to give her a 'I-Told-You-So' face. This girl arh, very kek tao arh!!
Inside the skyride
Statues inside the Woods
After riding 'Air'The last ride was
'The Flume'!! It's like the
'water log' thing in Brunei. Man, I got really wet cause I was sitting in front!!! Then I got showered on the head again by that
stupid fake shower there!!
I'm the wettest one there! Notice my hair plastered to my head!
We had to meet at the entrance at 3:20pm and then another 2 hours ride home. I was cold, wet and tired. My ass almost
expired on the bus!! I couldn't feel my leg anymore. But finally, we reached school and had supper.
Then at 8:00pm, we had this fire drill thingy! And we had to do it twice because we got it wrong in the first place!! So we had to stand outside and freeze to death. But overall, it was a really fun day! ZzZzZzZ~
p.s. Made chocolate eclairs today. It's sort of like cream puff with chocolate on top.

During the second practical in food tech, I've made
PIZZAS!!! I didn't like it though, since it's topped with onions
ONLY! WanSien might like it since she loves onions. *shudders* I gave two of em' to the housemistresses and one to Shin. Here's a picture of my pizzas!

Looks sort of burnt ><
Then during Cookery class, we made pasta! It's like there's 4 of us in a group and we were cutting and chopping like mad. The pasta looks nice, but it didn't taste very good. It's like too sour of something, just plain weird. Shin and I threw ours away. A waste, tsk!
Nice looking bunch of pasta, no?
On the 18th, the whole lower six classes went to ASK restaurant which is located in Worcester. 15 minutes train ride from Great Malvern. It's sort of a posh restaurant, with its Italian food and stuff. I ordered Mozarella on Garlic Bread for starters, Spaghetti Carbonara for Main Dish and Ice cream for desserts. I was stuffed after I finished everything.

Shin and Chiann in ASK
3 bottles of coke standing on the table...
Last night, we sort of ordered Chinese food with our seniors for dinner. The fried rice was the most delish rice I had in here! The rice they had in school was just HORRID! Then we watched 3 movies. The first one was 'Notes on a Scandal.' It's a very weird movie with sort of sex scenes! (Ambok, I know you're interested!) It's about this old history teacher (a lady, mind you) with a dull life which became meaningful when she met this new art teacher, who's a young woman. The old woman became like obsessed with this woman and then she found out that woman's having an affair with a 15 year old student!! That old woman is somewhat in love with that young woman I think. It's just WEIRD!! You guys should watch it.
We watched 'The Return' next. It's a horror movie. It started boring at first, but in the middle, everybody started screaming! It was just so FUNNY! One scream trigger another and in a split second, everybody's screaming even if they didn't see anything. It's like we scream, then we laughed! Totally HILARIOUS! Then at the scary part, somebody knocked on the window from outside, which cause another bout of screaming and those ppl who were sitting by the windows all leap in our direction. The movie started getting boring again, and we changed it without finishing! Haha!
'Flushed Away' was next. It's a very nice movie neh!! So funny, especially the slugs! They're soooo cute with their singing and screaming! Haha! It's a must see movie!
Today, Shin and I went to town again. We ate lunch at Hung's kitchen, which costs us about 13.10 pounds between us. We were like *gasp!* and then swearing that we would share food this day onwards! We went to Waitrose (a supermarket for those who don't know) and bought lots and lots of shampoo! I found out everything we bought were like on promotion. Our shampoo were buy 1 free 1 and the chocolate was like 2 for 2.20 pounds! Hahah! We sort of saved 7 pounds man! Tsk, we're turning into old grannies who buy everything on promotion!
Tomorrow, we're going to Alton Towers!! It's like an amusement park and I am SO looking forward to it!! *toodles* XOXO

I'm multi-tasking! Doing prep and eating banana!

It’s the weekend again and this Saturday we went to Worcester FS. We took a train and it took us about 15 minutes to reach there. It was sort of full on the train, so I had to sit with another person. Lucky Shin sat with a somewhat handsome guy. Hmmph, so jealous! *Glares at Shin*
The ticket booth was closed so we had to buy the tickets from the conductor. But we couldn’t find him until we actually reached Worcester. We were almost panicking cause there’s this sign that said that if they caught you without a ticket, you’d be fined at least 20 pounds. But we sort of got through everything without trouble, fortunately.
There’re more shops in Worcester than in Malvern, which is a great thing for us. There’s this mall like building, but it only has one floor, with lots of different shops. Kept seeing clothes I wanna buy, but I didn’t, since I don’t wanna waste money. I am sort of regretting it now. I bought lots of sweets though. There’s this shop which sells lots of different types of sweets such as lemon sherbet, barley sugar, acid drops and many more. They were so colourful, so appealing that I couldn’t choose what I want in the first place. I was seriously considering getting one of each type.
We went for pizza too in this pizza place called Chicks. I think the worker there thought I was an idiot cause I couldn’t get what he said. I was like ‘Ha?’ so many times. Luckily Shin knew what he was talking about and replied him.
We went back at 4pm after loads of walking and window shopping. And Shin and I missed supper because we went to the dining hall too late. -_-!!!
Shin, Fiqah n Wendy
Me
Today (Sunday), we went Go-Karting in Gloucester. It was a 45 minutes bus ride from Malvern, but the view was totally breathtaking. It was the countryside and the fields were filled with sheep, cows and horses.
Shin n I in the busThe Go-Karting arena is located in a very weird place. It’s an indoor track and not very big. At first, after looking at other people drive around, I started feeling scared. But when I started driving, it was so fun! Wahaha! I started driving faster and faster when I get more comfortable. My fastest lap was around 29 seconds. Woot! It’s not very fast compared with other people though.
So professional! =P
The trackWe reached our school at 15 minutes to six. Luckily, we weren’t late for supper today and got to eat roast lamb and Yorkshire pudding! I just love the pudding. So yummy!
Here are some pictures we took today:

I had cookery class today for enrichment. Wow right? I actually took cookery classes! Wahaha. I’m just learning how to bake and cook and stuff! Well, for this class, we had to make chocolate sponge cake. Grouped up with Shin and did everything, until I suddenly feel faint and sat down on the floor, looking as pale as a sheet of paper, according to Shin. You see, I had stomach cramps and so the pain became too much to bear and I just almost fainted. So I had to lie on the office floor until I feel well enough to walk to the health centre. Slept in there till lunch and then had classes again.
This is a picture of the chocolate sponge cake Shin and I made:
Yummy, ain't it?
We had a house party today too. It’s just a small party, nothing big, with loud music, chips, chocolates, soda, wacky people dancing wacky dance moves and other things. Mostly I just sat on the bean bags and eat and just watch, but got up and wiggled my lazy ass for a little while. Haha. We watched ‘She’s the man’ together, and it’s just so funny. They were all ogling at the ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’ guy in the movie and were complaining about being in an all girls’ school. So, it’s not just me who’s bothered with that fact that our school has totally no guys to look at.
Am watching ‘Huan Huan Ai’ with Shin in my room now. ‘He Jun Xiang’ and ‘Wang Chuan Yi’ very the suai neh!!! Wahaha. In need of guys to look at sooooooon or I’ll go crazy! Actually, I’ve spotted a guy twice who looks like Jesse MacCartney. Very suai neh! Blehs.
Sigh. I miss you guys in Brunei! Wanna go watch movies with you guys and go hang you and spot cute guys! Sniff! Miss home too!! *Wails*

Got up early with a stomach pain this morning at 5:30am. It was way before my time to wake Shin up, so I just lay in bed trying to go back to sleep. Ended up having a restless nap and woke up again at 6, where I decided to just get up and brush my teeth. Then trudged all the way to Shin’s room to wake this lazy pig up.
We made our way to the bathroom for our daily morning shower when I found out that bees have yet again infiltrated our bathroom and therefore, we can’t shower in fear of bees stinging us. So back to our rooms to get ready for school, smelling like last night.
We didn’t have classes today because we are new in the school and thus we have to take this ‘Future Wise’ test thing. It’s to test what career we’re suited for and also know more about our personality. Whoopee! At first, that is. After 3 BORING hours of those tests, I became brain dead. Shin was practically dead already. The tests were totally meaningless!! To us, anyways. The tests included testing how many ‘S’ and inverted ‘S’ we could scribble in 5 seconds. It was total insanity. You could hear everybody scribbling furiously, trying to get as much ‘S’ in as possible. I swear they could make a fire, the rate they were scribbling!
So that was all we did in school today. Shin and I went home, and I spent my whole afternoon in her room, playing her Nintendo while she read her book. Time came when we had to shower (no bees this time) and go to school for supper with the Headmistress. She had invited us to have dinner with her and so we had to look smart.
On the way to school, we saw two little kids on the other side of the road. One was sort of holding out his thumb in a ‘very good’ way, and smiling at us. Shin and I were bewildered, staring behind our backs to see who was on the receiving end of the ‘very good’ sign for. Unfortunately, there was no one behind us, so we continued in our confused state, thinking that the little kids were just hitchhiking. We continued walking, and the kids crossed the road and were walking in front of us. Suddenly Shin said that she remembered the long haired blond kid, who was the kid from the shop downtown who we thought was going to rob us. I was like, ‘No way!’ but she insisted that he was. So yea, I guess that ‘very good’ sign was meant for us. Little kids are so weird these days.
Supper with the headmistress was okay la. It was very awkward, but at least the food was delish! And the still water was the best tasting water I’ve ever had since I arrived in London. I couldn’t get used to the water here as it tasted weird. People just drink from the tap. But at least the water here in Malvern tasted better than the filtered water in Brunei Hall.

Oh yea! Before I forgot, did I mention I took food tech as an AS level subject? Well, food tech is sort of like you learn what’s inside food? I think. But the point is, the practical we have to do for this subject is COOKING! And for my first practical, I’ve successfully made two Apple Pies! Cool eh? It tasted nice, but it was too sweet. But I think that was the point. I gave a whole pie to the housemistresses, who said they were delish, and kept thanking me for it. I scraped the apples of my apple pie and ate only the crust, as I do not want to die from diabetes. So yea. Haha! Next week, we’re going to make pizza! I also joined cookery for this enrichment class. By the time I get back to Brunei, I’m going to be a great cook! Woot! I’ll cook for you guys when I come back! Wan Sien, I can cook with your mom now! Tell her that!

It’s been one week in school and I’m still alive! *Phew* Actually the School’s fine la, with its very nice building and delicious food. *Drools* My typical school day starts at 7:45am with breakfast then registration and then assembly. Classes start at 8:55am to 4:00pm with recess, lunch and tea in between. Classes are really boring at the moment, because I’ve sort of studied it in Brunei already so, yeah.
Malvern St James
The first time I arrived in Greenslade house was on the 2nd of September. It’s really huge and the housemistress is very kind and funny! Haha! There’re two dogs in our house too, named Dave and Lottie. We each a get a room of our own with a small single sized bed, a bed-side table, a study table, a wardrobe for our clothes and a sink. The room’s really nice actually, nicely fitted for a simple person like me! =P My room’s at the end of the hall, FAR away from my other friends. I’m like so isolated! But out my window there’s a very nice view of the garden outside the house and I have an extra full length mirror so I could look at my ‘pretty’ self easily! There’re also lots and lots of bees near our house, and you know how terrified I am of bees! That day when bees infiltrated our bathroom, I just ran straight out and didn’t bother to shower until later that evening!
Greenslade House
Before
After
Most of the people on our floor are from Hong Kong. We pretty much get along with them but not really with those English people. They don’t seem to want to get to know us and they have a ‘I-do-not-like-you’ look on their face. So we don’t really mix with them.
I sort of offended a person during our first dinner in the school. It’s like we had to line up to get our food ma, but I didn’t see the person behind me so I just followed behind my friend. The person behind me thought I was cutting the line so she was like ‘UH!’ in a disgusted way. I was like ‘Oh, sorry’ and moved to let her go front but she refused so I just stayed where I was. But then they were like whispering about us behind our backs! Sheesh! What kind of attitude was that? So my first impression of the school was that it is filled with a bunch of snobs!
Huoy Shin and I are getting along really great! We have a lot of fun when we’re together bitching about other people and stuff. We’re not just talking about anybody though, we’re talking about those who talk about us, so we’re not the guilty ones! Most teachers get confused with our names. We usually go everywhere together and our names even rhymes. ‘Shin and Chiann’. Teachers always pronounce my name ‘chin’ and so it’s like shin and chin. And many people find it funny! (-_-!!!) Shin my ‘zhi xin peng you’. She does not know much about me, but she knows whether I had done ‘my business’ for that day or not. Kek tao right?

Shin n Chiann
Shin’s really crazy. She went around our school to our house with a banana peel in her hand. She called it the ‘Banana Expedition’. We sort of proved that banana peel really is slippery and is not just in the cartoons that people do slip on it. We experimented by putting the peel on the floor and stepping on it! Then Shin picked up the banana peel again and we continued in our expedition. We went to many places to look for a litter bin to throw our blackened banana peel, but to no avail. In the end, we brought it back to Shin’s room and took some pictures with it before throwing it away.
Shin, Mr. Banana Peel and Me
We also went to town a few times. Crossing the road is plain scary! It’s like, there’s cars going every direction and the traffic lights are weird! So Shin and I usually just cross the road by running and laughing and screaming like little kids! There’re two towns close to our house, uptown and downtown. Uptown’s up hill and so obviously, downtown’s downhill. *DUH*
There’re more shops in uptown but it’s so tiring to go up that steep, steep hill. There’re lots of guys in the towns but not really a lot of good looking ones. Shin and I are always looking out for guys but we’re always disappointed. Until now, we’ve only seen about 3 to 4 cute guys! Haha! We’re a bunch of perverts, I admit.
We went downtown one day and we went into this store. I was browsing around until I saw two little boys of about 13 or 14 years old. One made eye contact with me so I smiled to be polite. He just suddenly greeted me by saying something. I was shocked that he talked to me so I hurried to Shin’s side. I was like clutching my bag to me and said, ‘Shin! That kid’s gonna rob me!’ and that’s when the other kid came near us. Shin said that they were debating to talk to us or not! Shin was like, ‘ Did u fang dian to that little kid kah? He’s like fond of you!’ We quickly left the store and Shin was afraid that the little kids would stalk us and kept blaming me for her fear! Ever since then, Shin kept telling me not to fang dian anymore in fear of people following us home.
We masked our faces one night, giving in to a sudden impulse of becoming pretty. And here is picture of our masked faces:

Gruesome, aren’t we?
Beautiful scenery of Malvern
We were so bored in the house, here are some weird photos we took:

Shin and a pack of strawberry flavoured mask
I have no idea what I’m doing!! 0_0
That’s all for now dudes. Will try to update as soon as possible. Toodles! *XOXO*

It's been 3-4 days since I last saw my friends, and well, I MISS THEM!!! So very the gan dong that you guys come send me neh!! Wanna cry liao!! Thanks you guys! I was reading the things you guys wrote when I was in the plane and I almost burst into tears. But I didn't la!! So 'jian qiang'!! Hahaha!! But the airplane ride was just plain TORTURE!! We had to sit for around 8 hours from Brunei to Dubai and after that another 8 hours from Dubai to London. I swear I thought I was going to die inside the plane! My friend, Huoy Shin, and I were like talking for the first few hours, then we ran out of topics. So we started to tell each other stupid jokes just to pass the time. Then I couldn't sleep lagi, since I was sitting between my friend and another person I dunno. So tiring!
Well, life in London is GREAT!! The weather is just nice for me to go without a jacket and not freeze to death. It's just like being in an air-conditioned room. I'm sharing a room with a bunch of crazies: Huoy Shin, E-Rue and Huan Hui. Three of them were from MS and I'm the odd one out. But we sort of got along fine since we're the only Chinese ppl that time. Our room is just plain small!! With our luggage in the room, we don't even have walking space!! And we are so messy!! You'd die if you get to see our room!! Then on the second day we're here, Vivian joined us in our room since she doesn't know her roommates. So, now we have 5 ppl in a room. Imagine how crowded is that?
Let me introduce my roomies. Huoy Shin's the friend who's going to the same school as I am. She's a crazy person and sometimes very vain! It's because she's a Leo I guess. Like someone I know in Brunei who has the intials WS!! When she's with Vivian, they're both crazier than ever! Huan Hui's the health concious vegetarian! She just keeps saying whatever we eat is not healthy. And she's plain BLURRRRR!! She's like Stephie when she has her head in the clouds!! And E Rue's blurr too but not as blurr and Huan Hui. But put them together, they'd get lost in a second!! They're really fun to be with though!! And they're hilarious! Especially Huan Hui's childhood memories. It's one of a kind!!!
We went to Hyde park the second day we're here. Hyde park is HUGE!! We walked and walked and walked until our pants have holes in it (seriously) and we still couldn't see the exit anywhere! There's lots of squirrels and pigeons and ducks and swans and dogs and ppl!! The squirrels are really friendly. They're not scared of ppl one!! One even ate my grapes!! Then the pigeons and ducks and swans are really FATTT!! They're fatter than the average birds! I think that's because the ppl who visit the park brings lots and lots of bread just to feed them!! And I saw lots of different breeds of dogs! There's this very friendly golden retriever who came and let us pet it!! So CUTEEE!!
HuanHui, ChiaoYin, Shin, Me n ERue
Squirrel!
Who's Who?
It's raining! Not!
Trees.
Trees!
N more trees!!
Bunch o' fat birds!
Nice views of Hyde Park

Picnic in the garden beneath Brunei Hall!
Then we went shopping the next day. We walked again and this time my feet HURT like hell. My friend told us that we had walked for around 6-7 miles!! There was this building where everything inside it is Nike stuff!! I was like 'Woah' and then like 'WOAH' and then like 'woah¬'!! Hahah! I'm being lame!! -___- !!!
I've got lots and lots of pictures to put in, but since I'm using the computer in a cyber cafe, I can't do it at the moment. Blehs. Today's my last day in London and I will be going all the way to my school tomorrow! Heard that my school will block websites such as MSN and Hotmail and Friendster and Blogger, so I do not know how on earth am I gonna post and email and chat with you guys! Kek tio man!! But don't worry! I'll find some way to contact you guys! Haha!!
